LOWER MALL CAMPUS, LAHORE.
This institution of historic importance came into being in 1880, bearing the name of Central Training College and settled in the present building of lofty pillars, magnificent arches, and spell binding skylights, in 1887. It was renamed as Government College of Education for Men, Lower Mall Lahore in 1976. It became a constituent College of University of Education in September 2002 and was declared a Campus of the University in 2006. Since its establishment, this great place of learning has been producing a good lot for the core profession of teaching. B.Ed, M.Ed and M.A Education programs have remained its significant features but after becoming a Campus of University of Education, certain new avenues have been opened to the goal oriented students. Currently the Campus is offering multifarious graduate and postgraduate programs in various disciplines.
